The Doctor Office Special!

Help your doctor or dentist office stand out from all the others!

Would you like to cater to your smallest customers without drastic changes or expensive re-decorating?

I can create a wonderful area in your office that will delight all children – making them feel welcome and excited to return.

I paint murals for children and will make a room, a corner, or even a bathroom in your place of business extra special, and I can do so for around $400.00 (can be less or more, depending on the size of area you want done!)

See my contact information below. I look forward to talking to you.

Awesome Awnings

I love awnings! They are pretty prevalent in my neighborhood of 50's era homes, especially cute metal striped awnings in pastel colors. Most of those I see are pretty worn and I'm so tempted to ask home owners if they will let me rescue them. What would I do with them? I would love to place them on the outside of my home (even if it is a rental - they would move with me of coarse!) I think they would even be really great in a child's space. They could turn a room into a Parisian cafe or a retro bungalow. I keep hoping to see some discarded awnings on the side of the road waiting for me to discover them, but haven't gotten lucky yet. Maybe those fortunate awning-windowed-homeowners love them too!

Here are some pics of awnings in interior spaces!

Bella Seven The decorative paint treatment above the bed (not painted by me) looks like an awning!

Instructions for construction of this awning come from HGTV

This little playhouse is just about the cutest thing. I can imagine expanding on the idea and turning an entire room into a little pastry shoppe. You would have to include the awning - over the closet, or window, or Door! If you happen to live in the Twin Cities area, you could be lucky enough to hire the wonderfully talented team at Morgan Evan-Thorne who painted this mural.

This awning is just a painted piece of core board hung with fishing line! Clever!

From Full House. I'm hoping to get instructions on how this awning was crafted. I think it is so fun. It looks like it is in a kitchen. I want to make one for my patio.

Recognize this lady from HGTV? This awning isn't made from the loveliest of fabrics, but the design is good, and instructions on how to make it can be found HERE.

This is a professionally made window awning done by Palmetto Window Designs

This cafe awning mural is actually a "Wallies" mural (stick-ups or wallpaper murals) that are mass- produced. They can be purchased at many places, like Wall Decor Shop

The bookcases along side the window makes the construction of this awning seem pretty easy. What a great way to add some coziness to the window seat. From BHG

This fabulous room was created by a blogger at Design Dazzle. A contractor built this awning for her from her own design. The awning is the crowning touch to this room, I think!

Pottery Barn

Obviously, this isn't a kid's room (maybe in their dreams!), but this awning is super cute and I had to add it here!
