Modern-style Rooms of Wonder

I just blogged about vintage-style kids' rooms - and wrote about how that style suits me. Well, I must have a split decorating personality because I also happen to like the clean lines and minimalism often found in modern decor. The following modern-style kids' rooms are beautiful. I have decided that I need 2 homes: One full of vintage, time-worn stuff, and the other home (preferably on the beach - while I'm dreaming, I might as go all the way!!!) done modern! Which do you prefer? Anyone else have decorating mental health issues?

The mobile in this room is to die for! Looking at the close-up pic, I think it may be made from glass Christmas balls, painted to look like planets? I think I will have to try to make one.
